This is Janet Allon’s blog about Paul Krugman’s excellent article in the New York Times. We recommend starting with Allon’s blog, as it applies Krugman’s articles more directly to the new majority in Congress.

It’s all about the economic reality that governments should make different decisions based on how the economy is going. When it’s bad, as it has been since 2008, governments should be investing. And when it’s good, THEN the government should be cutting spending. But the new folks in Congress seem incapable of understanding anything about how the economy actually works.
